Boiler repairs are carried out on Worcester Bosch models. Gas safety inspections and landlord CP12 certificates cover all appliances, and Julian is happy to arrange access with tenants directly.
He also holds the unvented hot water and LPG qualifications, so LPG boiler work is covered for properties off the mains gas grid. Alongside those, he handles radiator installation, gas cooker installation and gas leak detection.

Solid walls lose heat far faster than cavity walls. Radiators sized from a standard chart come out too small and the room never quite warms up. Many still carry original pipework, and some retain single pipe layouts where water passes through each radiator in turn and arrives cooler at every one.
The most straightforward houses we work on. Cavity walls, sensible proportions, usually one bathroom. Here the constraint is often the radiators rather than the boiler, and replacing tired single panel units with modern double panel ones transforms the house for a fraction of the cost of a new system.
Well insulated and sealed from new. The issue is rarely heat loss and almost always hot water capacity, where an original combi can no longer serve two bathrooms. A system boiler with an unvented cylinder is usually the answer.
Properties out this way are not always on mains gas. Julian is LPG qualified, which rules out a fair number of engineers before you have finished ringing round.
